Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay Brodie, born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn was a part of the Mormon church's most prestigious family, combined her literary expertise and impressive research skills into an outstanding biography of Joseph Smith. No Man knew My History appeared in 1945. This title comes from a 1844 funeral sermon preached by The Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. Nobody knows my past. I can't tell. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman wrote: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have risen to the challenge." Many have abused him while others have glorified him. Some have attempted to make a clinical diagnosis it is not the fact that these documents lack information, it is rather that they're in complete contradiction. It is a matter of separating first-hand testimony from third hand inconsistencies and integrating Mormon-related narratives into a coherent history. It's both thrilling, and also instructive. FawnBrodie was a dedicated devotee to her profession. Her research and writings brought her fame around all over the globe: Thaddeus Stephens. Scourge of the south (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historiography (1974) The posthumous.
